Psychedelic Art Exchange - custom asset management platform by Aether Immersive

Small Business

WEBSITES / SOFTWARE / EVENTS / INSTALLATIONS

Aether builds websites, custom software, projection-mapped events, and immersive experiences for small businesses - the same studio that works with NASA and Ferrari, scaled to fit your operation and your budget.

You do not need a Fortune 500 budget to get studio-quality work.

Small businesses get stuck between expensive agencies that treat them as an afterthought and freelancers who disappear after launch. Aether sits in between - a studio with real engineering depth that actually wants to work at your scale.

We built the asset management platform for Psychedelic Art Exchange - the world's leading dealer in vintage psychedelic concert posters. We built the website for Nevermore Hall with Ticketmaster integration. We have projection-mapped events at Checkerspot Brewing and produced immersive activations for local businesses across Baltimore. The same team, the same tools, the same standards - just scoped to fit.

Websites & Web Applications

Custom-built sites and web apps - not templates. E-commerce, booking systems, portfolio sites, and business tools built to fit how you actually work.

Custom Business Software

Asset management platforms, inventory systems, workflow tools, and integrations that connect the services you already use into one streamlined operation.

Event Projection Mapping

Projection-mapped pop-ups, launch parties, and one-night activations that turn your venue or event space into something people photograph and share.

Venue & Retail Installations

Permanent or semi-permanent projection and interactive installations for bars, restaurants, retail spaces, and venues - ambient visuals that become part of your brand.

Brand & Marketing Content

3D animation, motion graphics, and visual content for social media, storefronts, and digital signage - designed to stand out from template-driven content.

Technical Consulting

Not sure what you need? We can assess your tech stack, audit your workflow, and recommend solutions before any build starts. No commitment required.

Studio-grade work without the agency overhead.

We are a small team ourselves - we understand the constraints. No account managers, no discovery phases that cost more than the build, no 40-page proposals. You talk directly to the people who design and build your project. We scope honestly, we build fast, and we stick around after launch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Aether too expensive for a small business?
Not necessarily. We work across a wide range of budgets. A custom website starts in the low four figures. A one-night projection-mapped event can start around $5k. Custom software depends entirely on scope - we will give you an honest number early so you can decide before any money changes hands.
Why would I hire a studio that works with NASA instead of a freelancer?
Because you get the same engineering discipline and reliability at a scope that fits your business. Our code is production-grade, our designs are original, and our work does not break six months after launch. We also do not disappear - we have been operating since 2017.
Can you work with my existing website or do I need to start over?
Both. We can build on top of what you have - fix performance issues, add features, redesign the frontend - or build from scratch if that makes more sense. We will tell you which approach saves you money.
What platforms do you work with?
We build custom on modern frameworks (Astro, React, Next.js, Node) and integrate with Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Squarespace, and most SaaS tools. If you are already on a platform, we can work within it. If you need something purpose-built, we do that too.
How long does a typical project take?
A website: 4–8 weeks. A custom software tool: 6–16 weeks depending on complexity. A one-night projection event: 3–8 weeks of prep. We will give you a real timeline with your estimate.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. We offer monthly retainers for ongoing development, maintenance, hosting, and support. We also do one-off updates and fixes as needed. The relationship does not have to end at launch.
Can I see examples of small-business work?
Yes - we built the asset management platform for Psychedelic Art Exchange, the website for Nevermore Hall, and projection-mapped events at venues like Checkerspot Brewing. All of these are small businesses with budgets far below our corporate clients.
