Projection mapping on building facade

Projection Mapping

SURFACES TRANSFORMED INTO LIVING CANVASES

Projection mapping turns buildings, sculptures, stages, and irregular objects into dynamic displays by aligning projected video to the surface geometry with pixel-level precision.

Turning architecture, stages, and objects into extraordinary visual experiences.

Projection mapping is at the heart of what we do. We transform buildings, stages, sculptures, and any physical surface into a dynamic canvas of light, color, and motion. Using precision-calibrated multi-projector systems, we align digital content to real-world geometry - making the architecture itself appear to move, breathe, and tell a story.

From large-scale building facades and festival stages to intimate gallery installations and corporate events, our projection mapping work spans every scale and context. We handle the full pipeline: site survey, 3D modeling of the target surface, content creation, projector engineering, and on-site calibration. The result is a seamless illusion that blurs the boundary between physical and digital.

Architectural Mapping

Large-scale projection on buildings, monuments, and structures - turning cityscapes into immersive visual spectacles.

Stage & Event Mapping

Custom projection design for festival stages, concerts, corporate events, and live performances with real-time visual control.

Object Mapping

Precision mapping onto sculptures, vehicles, products, and irregular surfaces for brand activations and art installations.

Technical Engineering

Multi-projector blending, warping, site surveys, 3D surface modeling, and on-site calibration for pixel-perfect alignment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What surfaces can you project onto?
Building facades, stages, sculptures, vehicles, irregular props, and full architectural environments. We handle both planar and non-planar geometry - anything we can survey and model, we can map.
Do you handle both content and installation?
Yes. The same team designs the show, produces the content, specs the projector layout, runs the install, and operates the show. Nothing gets lost between content and installation because they are the same people.
What software and hardware do you use?
Our show stack is usually Notch for real-time VFX, Resolume for playback and blending, and Luxedo for multi-projector calibration. On the hardware side we deploy projector arrays from 2 up to 36 projectors depending on scale and coverage requirements.
Can you combine projection mapping with live performance?
Yes. We have driven shows alongside live performers and DJs, including real-time Notch VFX reacting to audio and camera feeds. Our operators run the show live so content can adapt to the moment.
Do you do site surveys before a show?
For anything above the simplest setup, yes - we survey the surface and build a 3D model so calibration on-site is pixel-perfect. This is the difference between a clean show and visible seams.
What size projects have you mapped?
From intimate sculptures to full-building facades. Recent examples include the Ferrari brand activation at Royalston Square, Minneapolis (36-projector array in partnership with Luxedo), stage design for music events, and architectural mapping of Betamore in Baltimore.
