SUPERRARE AETHER

SuperRare's first virtual reality art show, Aether, opened on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 7-9pm EST in VRChat. The exhibit featured 3D sculptures by seven 3D/VR artists: Frenetik Void, Giant Swan, Glass Crane, Marc O Matic, Metageist, Rosie Summers, and Sven Eberwein.

This groundbreaking event pioneered the combination of virtual reality with blockchain-based digital art collection. For the first time, crypto art collectors could purchase actual tokenized 3D models rather than just 2D scenes or 3D animations, all while navigating a curated virtual gallery.
